我的巴黎記憶 My Memory of Paris
“羅丹先生，您好。我很羡慕您在那個時代的風華：無論是面對風雨般輿論的考驗，抑或是執拗不群的藝術創見，在在都顯現您的剛毅和自信。雖然，現在的我還不能證明自己是否有和您一樣耀眼的才華。但我確定目前唯一能勝過您的就是：我還活著。是的，我將會從此刻展開我的旅程，去迎接、見證屬於我的時代榮光與挑戰。” 這是30歲生日，在艾菲爾鐵塔上的心願。放眼望去巴黎市幅員遼闊的放射狀街景，真有不可言喻的雄心萬丈。也讓我回想起大學聯考那年，在陽明山竹子湖遠眺台北夜景時，期望萬家燈火為我閃耀的榮景。 活著。意味著未知和不確定，但這過程，同時也洗鍊著希望的願力和對彼岸的想像。雖然人生的路途上，本就有著太多的選項和虛幻，足以稀釋、迷茫原初簡單的本心和光亮。但活著本身，其實就足以證明我們還擁有選擇權。 “Hello, Mr. Rodin.I admire your magnificence in that era: whether you are facing the test of stormy public opinion or your recalcitrant artistic creativity, your perseverance and self-confidence are displayed everywhere. 和光同塵 Summer Flowers • Autumn Leaves
生如夏花之絢爛，死如秋葉之靜美。泰戈爾〈漂鳥集〉 每個生命都有自己的紋理，時而秀麗光彩，時而內斂寂靜。在時空的映照下，內心調柔和諧的願力，會隨著光的洗鍊化合為雋永的樣貌。生命將演繹成一首長詩，人們徜徉在瑰麗的情調。 後記：這件作品的原型躺在工作室，經歷多次大結構變動和長時間的細部修整，前後超過2年的時間。然後，進鑄銅廠排單近4個月，外加俄烏戰爭導致物料飇漲。當初直覺地想像它的合宜尺寸一路做下來，其實没有多慮物質條件。直到去工廠接牠回家時，眼看著3位師傅費力地抬過來，才知道牠竟有70公斤重。然後，在高溫與粉塵下，獨自親手處理表面抛光與塗層工序後…真心覺得：雕塑這個志業，著實是條耗時費力、極其考驗身心耐力的道途，除了初心的想像力，還需要十分強韌的執行意志。 Life is as gorgeous as summer flowers, and death is as quiet and beautiful as autumn leaves.Rabindranath Tagore “The Drifting Birds” Every life has its own texture, sometimes beautiful and glorious, sometimes reserved and quiet. 雕塑學科的當代面向思考 The Subject of Sculpture in Contemporary Art
求學時期曾待過美術和工藝學院，前者奠基人文識見和原創方法；後者培養在藝術理念和實踐方法上劍及履及。進入產業界磨練後，走著走著，卻發現實際詮釋和溝通方式，有許多細節其實更接近設計學院的專業。 雕塑在當代所涉及的範疇甚廣，小到珠寶設計；大到建築景觀等等，各種尺度和規模的造形。如果没有材料和技術上的框限，就造形研究的美學和趣旨而言，在概念上其實都是一樣的事。而或許，這也就是當代“智慧製造”所能放大、賦能雕塑創作者的時代助力。事實上，雕塑作為一門當代藝術的專業形式，在適應產業運作變化的同時，也逐漸從可見的形色美學價值，演化到兼容人本、社會的公共性；景觀、建築的空間整合，以及製造、商業營運的串流等跨學科的運作思維，彷若牽涉軟硬生態的多元整合。 回想起2015年，自中國美術學院畢業的時候，當時的雕塑系還在造形藝術學院裡。2017年後，雕塑系轄下的第5工作室獨立出來成為纖維藝術系（杭州有纖維藝術3年展），並與雕塑系及公共空間藝術系，合建為“雕塑與公共藝術學院”（原造形藝術學院已分拆）。隨後，廣州及湖北美院也建制相同的學院體系。 當代藝術往往會隨著產業環境的變化，而展現應對的風貌。特別是學院教育端的編制變化，可以見微知著當代產業狀態的演變實況。或許，智慧製造這門課題，也將像百年前的攝影術，同樣會帶給人們對於當代既定認知的反思及重新理解。 Looking back at my school days, I attended the School of Fine Arts and the School of Arts and Crafts. 小金魚 Little Goldfish
小金魚是孩提時可愛的記憶。像是水池裡自由自在游泳的朵朵小花，金色鱗光歡喜地漾起水面重重漣漪，亨唱起柔和的旋律。隨著水色輕盈吹送的波光粼粼，賞心悦目的活潑動態，也讓人一同沈浸在美好的心情裡。 也或許“如魚得水”的確幸感更能詮釋那樣的心境。人總得在不經意、没有防備的時候才能驀然回首發現，原本怡然自得的身心況味也就好比“魚忘了水，水也忘了魚”。在片刻輕盈的轉化中，在不羈的時空交融下，身心思惟可以化作魚水，在波光水色中相忘江湖。 The little goldfish is a cute memory from childhood. 愈是貼合本心的東西，也愈是貼合當代。 向來喜歡作品中“素朗寧靜”的特質。感覺剝除了多餘的敍事/飾符碼，簡練的語法自然能呈現事物純真潔淨的本質。心裡原本的東西，其實可以超越文化和語言的層次，在美意識裡，直接、全然地與人們在寧靜無瑕中默照。 The closer something is to the original heart, the more relevant it is to contemporary times. I have always liked the “sober and tranquil” quality in works. 記憶是生命中珍藏的時光片刻。就某方面而言，也是我們賴以為生的存在證明。而想像，是我們對生命的期待，奠基於我們所認識的世界，投向充滿可能的未知遠方。 隨著時間的遞嬗，記憶會逐漸蜕變成印象，一種索引般的印記。那些蒙太奇似的片斷拼圖與情景，也會隨著心流整合成我們覺察的美感。經由美感經驗積累而成的我們的美學意識，其實是一個創意核，能夠將截取的美感線索再賦予新的定義。而這個美學感通的途徑，或許就是想像的開始，好比一個從記憶/印象裡萌芽出的種子，在滋養的泥土中茁壯，然後迎接陽光的洗禮，終能無懼地向晴空抽出自由鮮活的新芽—創造性的存在。 日常生活中的美好記憶，如果是滋養我們內在生命的呼吸，給予我們生活中愜意的確幸感。那麼，關於美的想像的願力和鬥志，則實質體現了我們生命存在本身的價值。故鄉記遊。 *鹿港鳳山寺/龍山寺/高美溼地 Memories are cherished moments in life.
