抽象與寫意 Abstract and Freehand
抽象與寫意的探討，是十年前自己博士論文中的一段論述。就我的觀點而言，抽象是一種方法論，為將事物化繁為簡的邏輯，帶有思辨與取捨的判斷。而寫意是一種東方情懷，在文思感性中抒發概念化的美感意象。 所以，“把酒邀明月，對影成三人”在寫意裡，明月、影子和人可以是等比、擬人的對象，也都是情思的表徵。但抽象的意義，其實是在簡化過程中展現“庖丁解牛”的清明思路，最終的成果是人們認知的最大公約數。 反覆斟酌在抽象方法論、東方情懷間的探索，其實也就是近年來在雕塑創作上形與意的展現。 The discussion of abstraction and freehand brushwork is a passage from my doctoral dissertation ten years ago. 抽象是一種隱喻性的思考。 從自身的生命情境、文化涵養投射於眼前的萬千世界開始，循序形塑出一片意識下的認知風景。而在眼前這座由審美意識所建構的經驗森林前，我們的生物辨識系統雖源自於藝術品星星之火的啟發，最終卻完成於觀者所嚮往、合成的超驗世界。 抽象的審美評判也或可視作一種”定影”過程，人們在審美的過程中逐一聚焦並確認美感的樣子。於是，審美思緒從作為美感觸媒所捲起的千頃波瀾開始，漸次被視覺經驗所活化的美感意識牽引出各層面的連鎖反饋，最終落定在人們生命中那個驀然回首的記憶焦點上。 Abstraction is a kind of metaphorical thinking. 展期: 5月28日(三) – 6月15日(日)開放時間: 09:00 – 17:00*休館日: 5/31、6/2、6/9地點: 桃園市政府文化局 *第一展廳桃園市桃園區縣府路21號3樓 Exhibition period: 5/28 (Wed.) – 6/15 (Sun.)Opening hours: 09:00 – 17:00*Closed days: 5/31, 6/2, 6/9Location: Taoyuan City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau *Exhibition Hall 13F, No. 21, Xianfu Rd., Taoyuan City 美麗的事物能夠喚醒人們對於幸福的印象，一如美好的時光總會令人念念不忘。作家林徽因曾說：「記憶的梗上，誰不有兩三朵娉婷，披著情緒的花。」那些在人們生命中所經歷的幸福榮光、感動時刻，正好比人們心中所珍藏的朵朵時光蓓蕾，總在不經意的時候，會綻放在日常生活中片段記憶的枝枒上，成為被喚醒的美好時光。 海風、山嵐、晨曦、霞光，除了形與色，還有溫度的記憶在；炊煙、熱湯、木桌、陶杯，質樸的氣息都是熟悉的觸覺。在人們日常的美感經驗中，伴隨觸覺所聯想的溫度與氣味記憶，經常成為重溫舊夢之旅的一種引信。而現代抽象雕塑創作所涉入的工作，就是在這琳瑯滿目的美好時空中，以真切的情感、入木三分的形色來「凝」記下種種美麗的臨在。 2022年夏天的一趟花東旅行，筆者在舒心徜徉蔥鬱山巒與湛藍海洋之際，催生了一組敘說海岸曲線、山青水色的抽象雕塑作品（花東三部曲- 陽光．縱谷．海岸線）。而後進一步，透過詩情轉化及抽象手法，陸續發展出一系列詮釋自然風光、魚鳥動態、形色寫意的抽象作品。古人說“外師造化，中得心源”。心想當年黃公望繪製“富春山居圖”時，應也是在盡興遊歷江河、有感人生況味而作。藝術家身心處於時空遷異或精神上的流浪狀態時，往往能夠透過詩境的巧妙轉化，而對於周遭的人事景物產生寄物移情、創意詩情的綺想。而就現代抽象雕塑創作而言，通過這樣的詩情轉化，雕塑家能夠驅動美學意識，並以純熟的創作手法去精煉材料、造形及節奏的精準度，進而成就一場美好的詩境之作。 美好時光－是藝術家從實景的寫生、詩情的寫意，再到暢志的寫心。彷佛在那些美好的心境之旅中，對於藝術家而言特別深刻的印象，都隨著時間的洗鍊和沈澱，而成為純粹的明亮開朗。美好時光－也是觀者透過藝術作品的賞析，而從自身的生活體驗中取得與藝術家所創作的美感經驗連結的契機。透過作品，觀者也得以自己的想像和記憶，重溫經驗中的美好時光。 Beautiful things can awaken people’s impression of happiness, just as…
