侘寂與奢華 Wabi-sabi and Luxury
作品”和光同塵”(Summer Flowers • Autumn Leaves)的啟發是源自泰戈爾〈漂鳥集〉中的詠嘆：「生如夏花之絢爛，死如秋葉之靜美。」Let life be beautiful like summer flowers and death like autumn leaves. 當時寫下的創作理念：每個生命都有自己的紋理，時而秀麗光彩，時而內斂寂靜。在時空的映照下，內心調柔和諧的願力，隨著光的洗錬化合為雋永的樣貌。生命成為一首長詩，人們徜徉在自己瑰麗的情調裡。 作為描述生命的本質，文中的”瑰麗”是一個如此美好的詩眼，腦海中質樸卻又華麗的作品畫面始終縈繞著。所謂侘寂，是品味歲月痕跡中短暫、無常而不完美的自然狀態。而奢華則是讚頌生命中豐盛、富饒和圓滿的極致。從”瑰麗” 的情境中，卻彷彿能看到作品的”絢爛”與”靜美”優雅而完美的融合。 創作與詮釋作品的過程，會成為創作者內在傾聽的歷程，同時也透過廣泛接納來自真實世界的反響，反覆端詳自己的深刻。作品或許能成為一面鏡子，讓每個人都看到屬於自己的”絢爛”與”靜美”。 https://iluxuryawards.com/profile.php?id=1161作品”和光同塵”獲美國奢華空間與精品設計大獎-最佳奢華設計-雕塑類iLuxury Awards-Best Luxury Design-Sculpture The inspiration for the work “Summer Flowers • Autumn Leaves” comes from Tagore’s lament in The Stray Birds: “Life is as beautiful as summer flowers, death as serene as autumn leaves.”…

抽象與寫意 Abstract and Freehand
抽象與寫意的探討，是十年前自己博士論文中的一段論述。就我的觀點而言，抽象是一種方法論，為將事物化繁為簡的邏輯，帶有思辨與取捨的判斷。而寫意是一種東方情懷，在文思感性中抒發概念化的美感意象。 所以，“把酒邀明月，對影成三人”在寫意裡，明月、影子和人可以是等比、擬人的對象，也都是情思的表徵。但抽象的意義，其實是在簡化過程中展現“庖丁解牛”的清明思路，最終的成果是人們認知的最大公約數。 反覆斟酌在抽象方法論、東方情懷間的探索，其實也就是近年來在雕塑創作上形與意的展現。 The discussion of abstraction and freehand brushwork is a passage from my doctoral dissertation ten years ago.
