作品創意以蘭陽故事中的噶瑪蘭公主傳說為源起。以象徵噶瑪蘭公主思念情人而生起的雲雨，來作為雕塑作品的本體意象。而海面上敦厚穩重的龜山島，雖單純簡潔卻又清明如鏡。總是以澄澈的心境，如實相映著公主如朵朵雲湧的思念。

雲朵是一種心思的象徵，在時空中如影隨形的汩汩湧現。心思的形狀會幻化遞嬗，思緒也會伴隨著不斷湧現蔓延。但我們的本心其實是一面澄澈的鏡子，純真而剛毅，總是如實地映照著我們輕盈飄忽的思緒。如果我們能仔細端詳著如綿密雲湧的當下思緒，驀然回首或許會發現，那溫柔而安詳、潔淨卻厚實如山的本心，始終如如不動在那裡。

The creative idea of the work originated from the legend of Princess Kavalan in the Lanyang story. The clouds and rain that symbolize Princess Kavalan missing her lover are used as the ontological image of the sculpture. Guishan Island, which is calm and steady on the sea, is simple and as clear as a mirror. It always reflects the princess’s longing like clouds with a clear state of mind.

Clouds are a symbol of the mind, emerging like a shadow in time and space. The shape of the mind will change and evolve, and thoughts will continue to emerge and spread. But our true heart is actually a clear mirror, pure and resolute, always reflecting our light and erratic thoughts truthfully. If we can carefully examine the dense clouds of thoughts at the moment, we may suddenly look back and find that the gentle and serene, clean but solid as a mountain original heart has always been there.
